** For optimal HMC imaging, the condenser NA must be equal to or greater than the NA of objective(s). However, for example, a special custom ordered HMC 100x may be used with a 0.8na condenser. There will be some loss of resolution, but the user may accept the compromise. We suggest consulting Mod. Op. for recommendations on non-standard configurations. It is also necessary to consider the overall height of condenser/turret. It is 55-60mm, make certain condenser carrier can be lowered enough to accommodate condenser WD. Working Distance (WD) is the distance from the front face of the condenser to the specimen plane.
